Materials: Hand-cut copper plate on a painted wooden canvas. 

Description: This sculpture has 49 individual designs of abstracted birds. Each copper plate is 6 by 2.5 inches and the designs take up a 2 x 2 inch area. To cut out the designs Diana used a jewelry saw with very fine blades. The copper has a textured but shiny finish and it is mounted on a handmade wooden canvas.

This sculpture sculpture is currently on display at the State Museum of Pennsylvania for the Art of the State exhibition. It is an honor to have been selected to be part of this show.  September 10th 2023 to January 7th, 2024.
